About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Room Leader for our nursery room who is motivated, organised, and passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. You’ll work closely with a supportive director and management team that values your input and qualified growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the daily operations and educational program in the nursery room
- Support and mentor team members in implementing a high-quality curriculum
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the community
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards and service policies
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children

Requirements

- Diploma (ACECQA approved) or above in Children’s Services
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (leadership experience preferred)
- Current First Aid, Child Protection, WWCC, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Ability to work between 7:00am and 6:00pm on a rotating roster
- Commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement

- Schedule: Day shift, full-time (approx. 10-hour shifts)
