Want to take real ownership of ecommerce growth rather than just one piece of it?

I’m partnering with a growing Australian consumer brand looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of its ecommerce function and help drive its next stage of growth.

Working directly with the founders, you’ll have genuine ownership across ecommerce and the autonomy to identify what needs improving, shape the strategy and make it happen.

This is a broad, hands-on role spanning ecommerce, paid acquisition, CRO, retention and trading, with the opportunity to build out a team around you as the business continues to scale.

What you’ll own

- Overall e-commerce strategy and trading performance
- Shopify, merchandising and conversion optimisation
- Hands-on paid media across Meta and Google
- Acquisition, retention and the customer journey
- CRM, lifecycle marketing and Klaviyo
- Forecasting, reporting and commercial performance
- Creative performance and opportunities to improve conversion
- Continued growth across international markets

You’ll be looking at the full funnel, understanding what’s working,



what isn’t and where the biggest opportunities are, then turning those insights into action.

What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years across e-commerce, digital growth or performance marketing
- Robust experience within a DTC consumer brand
- Excellent Shopify knowledge
- Hands-on experience running Meta and Google Ads
- Strong understanding of CRO, acquisition and retention
- Klaviyo and lifecycle marketing experience
- A commercial mindset and confidence working with performance data
- The ability to operate autonomously and work directly with founders

Experience within fashion, apparel, lifestyle, beauty or another brand-led consumer business would be particularly relevant, while experience growing DTC brands across international markets would be highly regarded. The culture is relaxed, entrepreneurial and focused on outcomes. They’re looking for someone who can take ownership, make good decisions and get things done, without unnecessary layers or process.
