We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our dedicated team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs and learning experiences that support children's individual learning and development in a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for:

· Plan, develop, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and children's individual learning and developmental needs.

· Plan and provide engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences using appropriate resources and teaching strategies.

· Provide intentional and play-based learning experiences that promote children's language, literacy, numeracy, physical, cognitive, social and emotional development.

· Observe, assess and document children's learning, development and progress and use these observations to inform individual learning goals and future educational programs.

· Develop teaching strategies that respond to children's individual strengths, interests, abilities, cultural backgrounds and developmental needs.

· Create safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environments that encourage children's curiosity, creativity, confidence, independence and agency.

· Build positive and respectful relationships with children and communicate regularly with parents and families regarding their child's learning, development and progress.

· Work collaboratively with families, educators and other relevant professionals to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.

· Provide guidance and support to educators in curriculum planning, intentional teaching, documentation and reflective practice.

· Contribute to the implementation,



evaluation and critical reflection of the Centre's educational program and continuous improvement of teaching practices.

· Promote cultural diversity and inclusive practices to ensure all children have meaningful opportunities to participate and succeed.

· Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children through appropriate supervision, risk management and child-safe practices.

· Ensure educational practices comply with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards and the Centre's policies and procedures.

· Participate in staff meetings, career development and continuous improvement activities.

Skills and Experience

- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and contemporary early childhood teaching practices.
- Strong understanding of child development, intentional teaching and play-based learning.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, document and evaluate educational programs for young children.
- Ability to observe and assess children's learning and development and establish appropriate learning goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an early childhood education team.
- Strong organisational, documentation and time-management skills.
- Commitment to child safety, inclusive education and continuous professional improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Sound understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety, inclusion and high-quality early childhood education.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $96,000.00 per year
