Paterson Valley Community Preschool is seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Diploma Qualified Educatorto join our welcoming team on a permanent part-time, school-term-only basis.

The Position

As a Diploma Educator, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality educational experiences and contribute to the ongoing development, learning and wellbeing of the children in our care.

Our preschool caters for 27 children per day, providing a supportive environment where educators can build meaningful relationships with children and families.

About You

We are looking for an educator who:

- Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
- Has experience working in an early childhood or preschool setting
- Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Is passionate about play-based learning and supporting children's individual interests and strengths
- Builds warm, respectful and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Is committed to children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Regulations




- Has a strong understanding of child protection, mandatory reporting and child safe practices
- Works collaboratively as part of a professional team
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and willing to contribute positively to our preschool community

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, as applicable
- Current Child Protection Training
- Current Child Safety Training
- Knowledge and understanding of child protection, mandatory reporting and child safe practices
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment
