Electrical Apprentice

Domestic & Commercial | Full-Time | Sydney

Australian Electrical Force is looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job. We want an apprentice who wants to learn the trade properly, develop their skills, take pride in their work and become an important long-term member of our team.

You will be working across a variety of domestic, commercial and fit-out projects throughout Sydney, learning alongside experienced electricians and being exposed to all aspects of the electrical trade.

Previous experience is valuable, but for us, attitude, reliability, work ethic and culture are just as important as technical ability.

About the Role

As an Electrical Apprentice, your day-to-day work will include assisting our tradesmen across a range of projects, including:

- Domestic electrical installations

- Commercial electrical installations

- Commercial fit-outs

- Rough-ins and fit-offs

- Lighting and power installations

- Switchboards and distribution boards

- Data and communications

- Testing and fault finding

- Reading and understanding electrical drawings

- Assisting with material organisation and site preparation

- Working alongside tradesmen, builders and other contractors

- Maintaining clean, organised and protected work areas

You will be given the opportunity to learn properly and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and confidence develop.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

- Is currently undertaking an electrical apprenticeship or looking to commence one

- Has a genuine interest in becoming a high-quality electrician

- Has a strong work ethic

- Is reliable and turns up on time

- Is willing to listen and learn

- Takes instructions well

- Shows initiative rather than waiting to be told every little thing

- Takes pride in their work





- Is organised and looks after tools, materials and equipment

- Communicates well with tradesmen, supervisors and clients

- Is willing to work across both domestic and commercial projects

- Wants to continually improve their skills

A current driver's licence and Construction White Card are highly regarded.
