Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, service and repair advanced electronic targetry systems supporting Defence training capabilities,
- Travel to Defence training facilities across Australia to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs,
- Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance,
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and network faults in field and workshop environments,
- Provide remote, over the phone and hands on support for targetry operators,
- Install, test, and commission targetry equipment and associated systems, and
- Contribute to equipment improvements and technical upgrades.

About You

- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance and Defence Common Access Card (DCAC),




- Current Australian driver’s licence,
- Trade qualification as an Electrician or Electronics Technician (Cert III or equivalent),
- Demonstrated experience in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of electrical and/or electronic systems and equipment,
- Excellent technical aptitude in electronic systems,
- Well developed fault finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills,
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders within and outside the organisation,
- Current unrestricted Electrical Licence (desirable but not mandatory), and
- Construction Induction Card (desirable but not mandatory)
