Thamarrurr Development Corporation (TDC) is looking for a motivated, people-focused Employment Consultant to join our Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) team in Wadeye.

What you'll be doing

- Inspire and empower: Work one-on-one with participants to identify their strengths, overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.
- Create pathways: Develop tailored Individual Employment Pathways (IEPs) and connect participants with training and job opportunities.
- Make things happen: Help participants navigate practical challenges, including identification, banking, transport and other employment barriers.
- Support success: Provide ongoing mentoring and post-placement support to help participants settle into and maintain employment.
- Build connections: Develop strong relationships with employers, training providers and community organisations to create employment opportunities.
- Make a difference: Deliver culturally secure, respectful and inclusive services that reflect the needs of the local community.
- Get results: Maintain accurate case notes,



meet RAES reporting requirements and contribute ideas to continually improve services.

About You

You're a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with people, solving problems and helping others reach their potential. You bring:

- Qualifications and/or experience in Employment Services, Community Services, Social Work or a related field, with demonstrated case management experience.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and/or in remote or regional settings.
- A genuine commitment to supporting people facing barriers to employment.
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of the RAES program or employment services frameworks (desirable).

Essential licences and clearances

- Current National Police Check.
- Current NT Ochre Card.
- Ability to obtain NLC work and residential permits (assistance provided).
- Current NT driver's licence.
