The Empty Mover Operator (PM Shift) will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving empty containers around our yard, keeping the container park organised and supporting the wider team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with container yard or transport experience who takes pride in working safely and getting the job done.
What you will be doing...
- Operate the Empty Mover to safely move and stack empty containers. ·
- Place containers correctly by shipping line, type and grade.
- Load and unload empty containers as required.
- Complete daily equipment checks and report any issues.
- Work closely with the Container Park team to keep the yard running efficiently. ·
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
Do you have...
- Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF).
- Experience operating an Empty Mover or similar heavy equipment.
- Previous container yard or transport experience, desirable. ·
- A strong safety focus and positive attention to detail. ·
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·
- Reach Stacker Licence, desirable.
Additional information: Successful applicants will be required to complete a drug and alcohol screening, police check and pre-employment medical.
