The business combines deep energy market expertise with quantitative modelling and commercial analysis, helping clients make investment and strategic decisions across Australia’s rapidly evolving energy markets.

An opportunity for an Energy Market Modeller to join a growing team, focused on long-term market forecasting and modelling across renewable energy, storage and emerging technologies.

The Role:

- Develop long-term forecasts across wholesale electricity prices, FCAS revenues, renewable build-out, battery revenues, demand, gas markets and network constraints
- Deliver end-to-end energy market modelling across a range of client projects
- Develop modelling assumptions and inputs, run scenarios and quality-check modelling outputs
- Model project revenues and commercial outcomes across renewable energy, storage and energy infrastructure assets
- Support feasibility studies, investment assessments and buy-side and sell-side transactions




- Translate complex modelling results into clear commercial insights and high-quality client deliverables
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of modelling tools, methodologies and processes

About You:

- Background in energy market modelling, power market analysis or quantitative energy analysis
- Strong understanding of Australian electricity markets, ideally including the NEM
- Experience with electricity price, generation, demand or revenue forecasting
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with energy market modelling tools and/or Python, SQL or similar analytical tools
- Degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, science or a related discipline
