About the role

Join the Nursing Pool at The Prince Charles Hospital and provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care across a diverse range of clinical areas. Working alongside Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to positive patient outcomes while developing skills and experience across multiple specialties.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing and midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.

Support an evidence-based learning setting and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.

Assist in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and change to promote safe work activities, report workplace incidents and participate in collaborative review of systems and processes.

Demonstrates an understanding of local cultural groups and their impact on care and engages in positive professional relationships and healthcare co-design.
