About the role An opportunity exists for an RN looking to take on additional work in a day surgery setting. This position is in a small day surgery dedicated to Podiatric surgery approximately 2 - 3 Thursdays/month.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe pre-operative and post-anaesthetic recovery care.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage pain relief post-surgery.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and surgical staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
About you
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience in day surgery, theatre, or recovery nursing.
- Robust clinical assessment and communication skills.
