Digital System Specialist - Vulnerability Management n

Working closely with Security Operations (SecOps), Technology Leads and Product Owners , this role provides the technical understanding and delivery coordination required to move identified vulnerabilities from initial assessment through to successful remediation.

The role requires a combination of broad technical knowledge, vulnerability management experience and strong delivery coordination skills , with the ability to understand technical issues, determine their impact and work across multiple teams to ensure remediation activities are appropriately prioritised and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Partner with SecOps and Technology Leads to review, assess and understand identified vulnerabilities across Digital systems and applications.
n
- Evaluate the technical impact, remediation approach and estimated effort required to address vulnerabilities.
n
- Support the assessment of vulnerability severity, business impact and remediation priorities.
n
- Identify technical dependencies, sequencing requirements and cross-product impacts that may affect remediation.
n
- Work closely with Product Owners to prioritise and plan remediation activities within product backlogs, sprint plans and delivery roadmaps.
n
- Coordinate remediation activities across relevant Digital, Engineering and Security teams.
n
- Track remediation actions through to completion, proactively managing dependencies, risks, blockers and competing priorities .

- Provide clear visibility of remediation progress and escal
n
- Apply broad technical knowledge of web and mobile application architectures and technologies to support informed remediation planning.

- Work across technologies including Node.js, Angular, Java and related frameworks, platforms and application environments .
n
- Support continuous improvement of vulnerability remediation processes across Digital products.

Skills & Experience

n

The successful candidate will ideally have:

n

n
- Experience working in vulnerability management, application security, cyber security or security remediation environments.
n
- Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification and assessment through to remediation and closure.
n
- Broad technical knowledge across up-to-date web and mobile application environments .
n
- Working knowledge of technologies such as Node.js, Angular and Java , including associated frameworks and dependencies.
n
- Ability to understand technical vulnerabilities and translate them into practical remediation activities.
n
- Experience working with engineering teams, SecOps, Technology Leads and Product Owners .
n
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery , including product backlogs, sprint planning and delivery roadmaps.
n
- Experience coordinating technical remediation activities across multiple products or technology teams.
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple remediation activities, dependencies and priorities concurrently.
n
