People Systems Specialist - Dayforce Focus (fixed term contract)

About the role:

- Contract role until February 2027
n
- offered as hybrid - 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH
n
- Monday to Friday working hours
n
- This role can be performed from any TFE location across Australia and New Zealand
n

n

Reporting to the Dayforce Operations Manager responsibilities include:

n

System Support & Improvement

n

n
- Deliver high‑quality, timely support with a strong customer‑service focus
n
- Respond to queries clearly and professionally via email and Microsoft Teams
n
- Build Dayforce subject matter expertise and drive continuous system improvement
n
- Support maintenance and simplification of organisational structures in Dayforce
n
- Conduct data and process audits , identify system “pain points” and implement solutions
n
- Execute system testing and document outcomes
n

n

HR Operations Administration

n

n
- Review and improve HR and Dayforce operational processes
n
- Optimise efficiency across Recruitment, New Hire and Onboarding
n
- Recommend enhancements across Core HR, Recruitment and Onboarding activities
n
- Assist in the implementation of new modules Performance, Compensation and Succession Planning
n

n

About you:

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience supporting HRIS systems (Dayforce experience highly regarded)
n
- Proven involvement in the successful execution of at least one HRIS system implementation
n
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on data integrity
n
- The ability to design,



optimise and enhance end‑to‑end HR processes for maximum efficiency
n
- Robust capability in documenting processes, conducting thorough system testing, and validating outcomes
n
- Well‑developed problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and deliver practical solutions
n
- A self‑starter who can work independently and take ownership of outcomes
n
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects
n
- A strong customer service mindset and genuine passion for supporting and helping team members
n
- Excellent communication skills in English, including written, verbal and active listening capabilities
n
- A friendly, professional demeanour with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
n
- Exposure to Dayforce HRIS modules including Payroll, Workforce Management, Core HR, Recruiting and Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Succession Planning and Position Management (desirable)
