Legal Counsel (M&A; Focus)

n

to join our

n

Legal & Compliance Department . In this role, you will be responsible of the following tasks:

n

Management of M&A; transactions.
n Management of corporate counsel matters.
n Review contracts and ancillary documents related to the renewable energy sector, including EPC, O&M;, asset management, facility agreements, etc.
n Proactive prevention and management of problems or disputes, identifying areas of legal risk.
n Coordinate with external legal counsel in projects and other legal matters.
n Manage disputes and litigations globally together with relevant external legal counsel.
n Provide legal support for other departments within the company (finance, M&A;, H&R;, operation, development, etc.)
n Provide guidance in all daily corporate issues related to the department.

n

Qualifications:

n

Bachelor's degree in Law , or equivalent relevant discipline.
n 4+ years of M&A; and corporate counsel work

n

experience in prestigious law firms, or as in-house counsel in international companies.
n English Advanced level (equivalent to C1-C2)
n Spanish Advanced level (equivalent C1-C2/Native)

n

Other Valuable Requirements:
n Desirable

n





Master's or specialization in renewable energy

n

or any other related field.
n Previous

n

experience in M&A; transactions and corporate counsel work ;
n Previous experience working within a company in the

n

renewable sector or in the energy team of a legal firm;
n Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
n Communication skills and relationship management, strategic thinking, ability to execute, problem-solving and attention to detail.
n Agile thinking and problem solving. Proactivity, with the ability to work independently. Ability to learn and apply internal procedures. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
