Your new company Join a prominent Australian regulatory organisation responsible for supporting confidence and stability across its sector. You will work within an established Enterprise Risk team that supports the organisation’s operational risk profile, governance arrangements, resilience and risk culture.

Your new role

As an Enterprise Risk Advisor, you will provide operational risk management support across a varied portfolio of business-as-usual and project-based activities.

Working closely with Risk Partners and other Enterprise Risk team members, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of operational risks
- Maintaining risk registers, incident and issue registers, action plans and supporting documentation
- Coordinating risk assessments, control reviews and risk workshops
- Preparing risk reports, dashboards, presentations and executive briefing materials
- Monitoring compliance obligations and tracking management actions
- Providing project and change risk support across strategic and operational initiatives
- Supporting the preparation of governance committee papers and coordinating follow-up actions
- Contributing to risk culture, awareness and capability-building initiatives
- Providing practical operational risk advice to stakeholders
- Supporting the continuous improvement of risk processes, reporting and tools

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience across operational risk, enterprise risk, governance or a related discipline
- Experience supporting risk assessments,



control reviews or broader risk management activities
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks, compliance frameworks or control assurance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- The ability to interpret information, identify risks and develop practical recommendations
- Experience preparing reports, presentations and briefing materials for management audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders at different levels
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency across Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools

You will be proactive, collaborative and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment. Sound judgement, attention to detail and a practical, outcomes-focused approach to risk management will be essential. Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement. The successful candidate must also satisfy the organisation’s applicable security and pre-engagement checking requirements.
