- Clerk Grade 11/12 - $154,231 to $178,369 base salary per annum + superannuation and annual leave loading

Cyber Security NSW is seeking expressions of interest for the acting role of Associate Director, Strategy & Governance. About the role The role provides strategic leadership across governance, executive coordination, planning and organisational performance within the Office of the Chief Cyber Security Officer. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership to drive high-priority cyber security outcomes across government, coordinate executive and stakeholder priorities, and provide advice on complex and sensitive matters in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Provide strategic advice on complex, sensitive, and emerging issues.
- Lead governance, planning, reporting, and executive coordination activities.
- Influence and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality executive briefs, correspondence and communications.
- Exercise sound judgement while balancing strategic, operational and reputational considerations.
- Lead the Communications and Engagement, Executive Support, Strategy and Government Relations teams, and provide direction to specialists delivering executive projects.
Essential requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in cyber security, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- Must be an Australian Citizen with an ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) security clearance, and willingness to undergo a criminal history and identity verification and ongoing probity checks as a condition of employment.
- Ability to be on stand-by during a designated period in response to cyber security incidents outside standard working hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
