BMR Piping & Civil is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Estimator, to join our team.

This is a role suited to someone who understands piping & civil projects, can price work competitively, and enjoys building client relationships and securing future opportunities.

About the Role

This is a hands-on estimating role for someone who knows how to execute estimates, manage tenders and help win work.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing tender submissions from initial review through to submission
- Preparing cost estimates and pricing for piping and civil projects
- Coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Supporting contract negotiations and project handover to operations teams
- Contributing to business growth strategy and market positioning
- Leverage industry relationships to identify opportunities and support business growth.
- Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor networks.
- Develop methodologies, qualifications, assumptions and clarification registers.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Improve estimating systems, cost libraries and benchmarking.

About You We are looking for someone who brings:

- Experience estimating or delivering HDPE, Steel & PVC piping, civil mining construction projects
- Strong understanding of tendering processes
- Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships




- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, opportunity-driven mindset
- Proven track record of successful tendering and contract negotiation
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or quantity surveying
- Familiarity with mining construction regulations and compliance requirements
