Two Gloves is looking for a full time Landscaping Estimator to join our growing team.

This is a customer-facing role where you’ll spend most of your day out on the road meeting potential customers, looking at their gardens and helping turn their ideas into properly scoped landscaping projects.

And unlike estimating on your own, you’ll have a full office team and multiple landscaping crews behind you.

About Two Gloves

Two Gloves is a growing Perth gardening and landscaping company completing residential projects across the metro area.

We have multiple field crews on the road, estimators visiting customers and an experienced office team keeping everything moving behind the scenes.

We take the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.

There’s plenty of banter between the office and crews, the group chats are usually entertaining, and the boss has been known to cook breakfast at the start of the week.

But underneath all of that, we’re organised, busy and focused on doing good work for our customers.

What does an Estimator actually do here?

You’ll be one of the first people our customers meet.

By the time you arrive, they’ve already contacted us because they want help with their garden or landscaping.

Your job is to work out what they actually need.

That means walking the property with them, asking the right questions, identifying practical solutions and gathering everything our team needs to produce an accurate quote.

On a typical day you might be looking at:

- Garden clean-ups

- New lawns and artificial turf

- Garden beds and planting

- Mulching

- Reticulation

- Edging and steppers

- Earthworks and site preparation

- General landscaping improvements

You’ll measure areas, take photos, assess access, think about labour and machinery requirements and make sure the scope is clear before handing everything back to our office team.

You don’t need to sit at home after work writing quotes.

Our admin team handles much of the behind-the-scenes work.

Your focus is on the customer,



the site and getting the scope right.

It’s part estimating, part problem solving and part sales

We aren’t looking for a pushy salesperson.

We want someone who can meet with a customer, understand what they’re trying to achieve and help them work out the best way to get there.

Sometimes that means recommending a better option.

Sometimes it means explaining why something won’t work.

Sometimes it means helping a customer adjust their expectations to suit their budget.

And sometimes it’s simply recognising a great job when you see one and confidently helping the customer move forward.

The work you do directly affects our customer experience, our sales and whether our landscaping crews walk into a job that has been properly planned and priced.

So it’s an important role.

Who would suit this job?

You’ll probably enjoy this position if you’re someone who:

- Is confident talking to all sorts of people

- Can build rapport quickly

- Is practical and good at solving problems

- Notices details other people miss

- Is organised and can manage your own appointments

- Can make decisions without needing someone looking over your shoulder

- Understands that a job needs to work commercially as well as look good

- Communicates clearly with customers and the team

- Takes pride in getting things right

Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, construction, estimating, quoting or sales would be highly regarded.

Maybe you’ve worked as an estimator before.

Maybe you’ve been a landscaper or tradesperson who enjoys dealing with customers.

Maybe you’ve even run your own small business and understand what goes into quoting work properly.

We’re more interested in finding someone with the right mix of people skills, practical ability and commercial thinking than someone who ticks every possible box.

A couple of practical things A National Police Clearance isn’t required when you apply, however you will need to obtain one if you are successful.

You will also need to be able to pass a pre-employment medical.
