Are you an events person who loves the detail, the planning and the buzz of seeing everything come together?

We’re looking for an Event Operations Specialist to join a busy team and play a hands-on role in bringing sports travel events and experiences to life.

This is a great role for someone who is organised, practical and calm under pressure - someone who can be across the detail, work with clients and suppliers, and jump in to solve problems when things don't quite go to plan.

So… what’s the role about?

You’ll be involved in the planning and delivery of sports travel events and experiencecs from start to finish.

That could mean coordinating suppliers and transport, making sure the right permits and bookings are in place, keeping everyone across the event plan and then being onsite to make sure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work closely with the wider team and the client, and you’ll be someone they can rely on to keep things moving.

It’s a varied role where no two events are exactly the same - so being adaptable, organised and good with people is key.

What you’ll be doing

- Helping plan and coordinate events from the early stages through to onsite delivery

- Coordinating suppliers, hotels, transportation, hospitality and other event requirements

- Making sure all the important details, bookings, permits and contracts are taken care of

- Working with onsite staff to make sure everyone knows what’s happening and where they need to be

- Being a key point of contact for clients throughout the event

- Helping with onsite logistics such as check-in, transportation and guest requirements

- Working closely with the wider team to keep everyone across the event plan

- Troubleshooting and dealing with those inevitable last-minute changes that come with events!

- Looking at what worked well after each event and suggesting ways to make things even better next time

What are we looking for?





You’ll ideally have

- 3 years' experience in events, event coordination or a similar role

- Recent experience in the events and/or hospitality or travel industry

- Strong organisational and coordination skills

- Great attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and suppliers
- The ability to juggle multiple things at once without losing your cool
- A practical, solutions-focused approach

- Confidence working onsite and dealing with changing circumstances

- Valuable computer skills, particularly Excel - CRM experience such as Salesforce is a bonus

You don't need to be the loudest person in the room. We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised, switched-on and gets things done.
