Primary objective

Provide the General Manager, Business and Regions with executive level business administration, research, analysis and advice, in relation to the development, coordination and implementation of policies and strategies which advance the delivery of divisional outcomes and performance.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Lead the Business and Regions administrative support team, provide guidance to the division heads to deliver divisional

strategic and operational business objectives, achieve the agency’s strategic priorities and support the day-to-day operations and business of the division.
1. Act as the conduit between the Business and Regions division and the Office of the CEO to identify and implement business

improvement processes.
1. Develop and implement strategies and supporting structures to increase workflow, budgeting and administrative efficiency

across the division.
1. Work collaboratively with the division’s leadership team, improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of administrative

service delivery, provide support and human resources management and deliver continued skill building and knowledge development across the division.
1. Provide ongoing support to regional offices to maximise the coordination and collation of requests for information and

management of data and systems.

Essential

1.



Demonstrated planning, project management and organisational skills to multi-task, manage competing priorities and respond

flexibly and pro-actively to changing priorities in a dynamic and politically sensitive environment.
1. Demonstrated ability to lead planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, evaluation and resource management to deliver

effective and efficient business administrative structures.
1. Demonstrated ability to obtain the cooperation and assistance of stakeholders, facilitate dialogue and information sharing to

influence change and achieve improved divisional outcomes.
1. Demonstrates and promotes an iterative business improvement process and adjusts thinking and approach as required.
2. High level experience in leading a team and delivering cultural change through influence and using innovative techniques.
3. Solid record of accomplishment as a clear communicator, communicating complex issues in plain English, expressing ideas

concisely and writing high-quality advice.
1. Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also actively and collaboratively contributing to a high-

performing team which delivers outstanding results.

Desirable

1. Tertiary qualification in business, corporate governance or a related field.
