About the Role

Pickering Automotive Group is seeking experienced Automotive Parts Interpreters to join our growing team.

We have multiple positions available and are looking for people who already have strong automotive parts knowledge and understand how a busy dealership parts department operates.

The successful applicants will work closely with workshop, service and other dealership departments to identify, source and supply the correct parts efficiently.

Previous automotive parts industry experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and interpret automotive parts accurately
- Assist with internal and external parts enquiries
- Source the correct parts using catalogues and electronic systems
- Process parts orders and requests
- Liaise with technicians and Service Advisors regarding parts requirements
- Check parts availability and provide accurate information
- Order parts from manufacturers and suppliers
- Receive and check incoming parts
- Pick and prepare parts for workshop jobs
- Maintain accurate parts and inventory records
- Monitor outstanding and back-ordered parts
- Assist with stock control and stock organisation
- Process parts returns when required
- Maintain an organised parts department
- Provide professional and knowledgeable service

About You We're looking for applicants who already understand the automotive parts industry and can contribute from the beginning.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter,



Parts Advisor or similar
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Previous automotive dealership experience highly regarded
- Confidence identifying and interpreting vehicle parts
- Experience using electronic parts catalogues or dealership systems
- Good understanding of inventory and stock control
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a team
