About the Role The Last Slice is looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team in Sydney Olympic Park.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional breakfast or brunch kitchen experience who can confidently work through a busy service while maintaining consistency, presentation and quality.

You should be comfortable managing your section, preparing café-style breakfast and brunch dishes, working efficiently under pressure and keeping your station organised throughout service.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Confidently manage eggs and other high-volume breakfast items.
- Set up and manage the breakfast station for service.
- Complete daily preparation and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Ensure consistent portioning, presentation and food quality.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe workstation.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Assist with general kitchen operations when required.

What We're Looking For




- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Breakfast Chef, Brunch Chef or similar position.
- Strong experience in a busy café or restaurant environment.
- Confident preparing a range of breakfast and brunch dishes.
- Strong cooking, preparation and plating skills.
- Ability to manage your own section during busy periods.
- Good organisation and time-management skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Full Australian working rights.
