The role n

This is not a desk-based role.

n

Based in Brisbane, you’ll work nationally across worksites, industry events and community initiatives, building trusted relationships with workers, employers, industry groups and decision-makers.

n

You’ll lead TIACS’ engagement activity across priority industries and regions, while connecting on-the-ground insights with the broader partnerships strategy to identify opportunities and create longer-term impact.

n

The role includes regular interstate and regional travel, early starts, evening events and occasional weekend work.

n

What you’ll be doing n

- Building trusted relationships with workers, employers, supervisors and industry leaders
n
- Representing TIACS across worksites, industry events and community activities
n




- Delivering practical, relatable engagement that makes mental health support easier to understand and access
n
- Building repeat engagement across priority industries and regions
n
- Identifying partnership, alliance and fundraising opportunities from conversations in the field
n
- Working closely with the Head of Partnerships & Impact to progress opportunities
n
- Coordinating national engagement activity, bookings and travel
n
- Capturing engagement activity, contacts and insights in HubSpot
n
- Sharing on-the-ground themes, barriers and opportunities with the wider TIACS team
n
- Supporting and guiding the Industry & Community Engagement Officer where required
n

Who we’re looking for n

You do not need to be a counsellor. This is a non-clinical role.

n

We’re looking for someone grounded, credible and genuinely good with people.
n You might come from a community engagement, partnerships, fundraising or field-based background.

n

More importantly, you’ll be someone that can walk onto a worksite and connect naturally with the crew, then sit down with senior leaders and hold your own.

You’ll need to be able to: n

- Communicate naturally with different audiences

- Handle sensitive conversations with good judgement and clear boundaries
n
- Work independently and stay organised across a national travel schedule
n
- Follow through on conversations and relationships h
n
- Represent TIACS in a way that is authentic, approachable and down to earth
