If you're a Senior Legal Secretary or Legal EA with over 5 years of experience we're looking for someone to join a busy personal injury practice.
n This is a hands-on senior support role working closely with Partners across complex matters in the workers comp.
n
The team is looking for someone who already understands the pace and processes of his practice and can confidently manage their responsibilities with a high level of autonomy and provide the support the partners need.
The Role n
You will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support while helping ensure matters continue to progress efficiently.

- Managing correspondence, incoming emails, filing and matter-related documentation
n
- Maintaining and regularly reviewing client files to ensure matters remain up to date
n
- Managing diaries, critical dates, workflows and time limitations
n
- Liaising with clients, barristers, courts, medical professionals and other external stakeholders
n
- Coordinating appointments, conferences, mediations and settlement conferences
n
- Preparing files and documentation for hearings
n
- Preparing briefs, tender bundles, schedules and settlement documentation
n
- Assisting with pleadings, affidavits,
consent orders and other court documentation
n
- Drafting correspondence to clients and third parties
n
- Supporting billing, invoices and trust account authorities
n
- Monitoring allocated tasks and helping maintain efficient workflows across the team
n
- Providing professional and empathetic communication to clients throughout their matters
n
About You n
This role requires someone with solid existing legal support experience, ideally developed within personal injury and Workers Compensation.
n
n
- 5+ years' experience within a Legal Secretary or EA/PA legal support role
n
- Experience within Workers Compensation and/or personal injury law is a must
n
- Exposure to areas such as Public Liability, Motor Vehicle Accident, TPD or Common Law claims would also be valuable
n
- Strong document preparation, drafting and file management capability
n
- Excellent diary and deadline management skills
n
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and external stakeholders
n
- The ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload
n
- Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients who may be navigating difficult circumstances
n
n
