The Educational and Senior People Leader is responsible for educational leadership and programming, including implementation of My Time, Our Place (MTOP), pedagogical leadership, and high level support for children and inclusion. The role also provides senior people leadership, directly managing Educators and coordinating with the People and Support Coordinator on broader staffing matters. The role maintains a regular presence on the floor, prioritising afternoons with children and liaising with school teachers regarding children's wellbeing.

Although advertised as full-time, the role is flexible and would suit 30 - 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
n
My Time, Our Place (MTOP) implementation
n
Inclusion support and wellbeing for children
n
Weekly and Vacation Care programming
n
Educational planning and documentation
n
Maintain and update physical environments in both centres
n
Programming meetings and critical reflection
n
Pedagogical leadership and educator support
n
Coaching and feedback on the floor for staff
n
Direct management of Educators
n
Regular work in progress and development conversations
n
About you
n
Approved teaching qualification and demonstrated experience in an educational leadership role within OSHC, teaching or early childhood education
n
Strong working knowledge of My Time, Our Place (MTOP) and the National Quality Standard, particularly QA1
n
Demonstrated experience leading programming, critical reflection and pedagogical practice
n
Experience directly managing and developing Educators, including regular coaching and performance conversations
n
Experience supporting children with additional needs, including behaviour support strategies and Inclusion Support Funding processes
n
Excellent communication skills for family engagement, school liaison, and staff training
n
Experience with OWNA or the ability to quickly learn programming and communication systems
n
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
A team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively both on the floor with children and in an office/leadership capacity
n
