Civil Foreman / Site Manager – External Works

Project: Major University Construction Project

Role: Civil Foreman / Site Manager – External Works

Start: Immediate / ASAP

This is a key site-based role responsible for overseeing the external works package throughout the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to program and to the required quality standards.

The role will involve coordinating and supervising civil and external works including:

- Roads, accessways and car parks
- Kerbing, footpaths and concrete works
- Paving and hard landscaping
- Stormwater drainage and associated civil works
- Levels, set-outs and coordination with surveyors
- External services and interfaces with other trades
- Managing subcontractors, plant and site crews
- Coordinating works with the wider construction team to maintain project program
- Ensuring quality, safety and environmental requirements are met




- Reading and working from civil drawings, specifications and site plans
- Liaising with the Site Manager, Project Manager, engineers, consultants and subcontractors

The successful candidate will have solid civil construction experience, ideally with previous experience delivering external works on large commercial, education, university or similar construction projects. You will be a practical, organised and hands-on leader with the ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and keep external works progressing in line with the overall construction program.
