Employment Type: Part-time, Permanent | 25 hours a week

Pay: $31.36 - $35.44 p/h (depending on experience and qualification) + Super

In this role, you will:

* Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
* Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
* Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
Work a part time roster of 25 hours per week

Working closely with the Centre Director and Educators,



you’ll create positive mealtime experiences while ensuring food is prepared safely and meets individual dietary requirements.

You’ll:

✨ Prepare healthy, nutritious and delicious meals and snacks each day
✨ Cater for allergies, cultural needs and special dietary requirements
✨ Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
✨ Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
✨ Help create positive mealtime experiences that encourage healthy eating habits
✨ Work a consistent 25-hour-per-week part-time roster
✨ Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive and supportive centre community

* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
* Current QLD Working with Children Check
