About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven and quality-focused Quality Assurance Officer to join the team at our client's facility in Park Ridge.

In this role, you’ll help ensure products consistently meet the required standards for quality, safety, compliance and performance. You’ll work closely with production and technical teams to identify issues, maintain quality systems and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and support the organisation’s Quality Management System
- Conduct quality inspections, checks and audits across manufacturing processes
- Investigate non-conformances and assist with corrective and preventative actions
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications
- Maintain quality documentation, records and reporting
- Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Support the development and review of procedures, work instructions and quality documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes,



consistency and overall product quality
- Ensure quality requirements are understood and followed across the production environment

About You

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented and genuinely passionate about quality, ideally with experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance / Quality Control role within manufacturing
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
- Experience working with ISO 13485 or similar quality standards
- Knowledge of GMP and regulated manufacturing requirements
- Experience managing non-conformances, CAPA and corrective actions
- Experience with internal audits and quality investigations
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering and technical teams

Medical device manufacturing experience will be highly regarded, particularly candidates who have worked within an ISO 13485 environment and understand the importance of traceability, documentation, risk management and maintaining strict quality standards.
