Design Sheetmetal is looking for a reliable MR Truck Driver to join our team in Bayswater, VIC.

n

This is a hands-on delivery role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, looking after products and providing great service to customers.

n

You'll be out on the road completing around 10 to 20 deliveries each day across Melbourne metro and surrounding areas, while working closely with our warehouse and operations team.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Complete daily pre-start vehicle checks
n
- Complete 10 to 20 multi-drop deliveries each day
n
- Safely load, unload and carry sheet metal products
n
- Deliver products on time and in good condition
n
- Follow Chain of Responsibility and transport requirements
n
- Keep the truck clean, tidy and well maintained
n
- Communicate with customers and the team about deliveries
n
- Manage your delivery schedule and report any delays or issues
n
- Follow all health and safety procedures
n
- Represent Design Sheetmetal professionally at every delivery
n

What we're looking for

n

You're a dependable driver who is comfortable working independently, enjoys being on the road and understands the importance of great customer service.

n

You'll have:

n

n
- Current Victorian MR licence or higher
n
- At least 2 years' truck driving experience
n




- Experience with multi-drop deliveries
n
- A clean driving history and strong safety record
n
- Good knowledge of Melbourne metro and surrounding areas
n
- Ability to handle manual lifting and physical work
n
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
n
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
n
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
n
