We're currently looking for a Senior API Developer to join our financial services client in Sydney on an initial 6 month contract.

Our client need an experienced engineer with a strong background in backend development on complex, scaled systems hosted on cloud. At least 12 months in GCP stack is essential.

Skills & Experience:

- Experience designing and develop scalable backend services using NodeJS
- Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Experience building and operating scalable solutions in cloud environments including GCP.
- Strong knowledge of databases SQL & NoSQL
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
