Our client, Kurri Kurri Golf Club, is looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Golf Shop Assistant to join their team on a casual basis.

This is a role that is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing great customer service and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

As one of the first people members and guests see when they arrive, you'll play an important role in ensuring golfers are welcomed, checked in and onto the course quickly and efficiently. You'll also help prepare golf carts, assist with retail sales, maintain the presentation of the golf shop and support the delivery of competitions and events.

When required, you'll also assist across other areas of the Club, including the clubhouse, functions and hospitality operations.

About you

You enjoy working with people and are passionate about delivering great customer service. You have a genuine interest in golf and enjoy being part of creating a positive experience for members and guests. You are reliable, well presented and willing to pitch in wherever needed to support the team.

Ideally, you will have:

- A passion for golf and delivering excellent customer service.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- The ability to work as part of a team.
- A willingness to undertake hands-on duties, including preparing and cleaning golf carts.
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- RSA and RCG qualifications, or the willingness to obtain them.

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or retail will be highly regarded but is not essential.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include:

- Welcoming members and guests and ensuring golfers are ready for play.
- Processing bookings, green fees, golf cart hire and retail sales.
- Preparing, cleaning and maintaining golf carts and hire equipment.
- Maintaining the presentation of the golf shop and surrounding facilities.
- Assisting with competitions, tournaments and Club events.
- Supporting clubhouse operations, including bar, gaming and functions, when required.

Weekend work and early morning starts are an essential part of this role.
