About this role

n

We are looking for a Yard Hand with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our Plant team at Wellcamp (Toowoomba).

n

Reporting to the Corporate Plant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily yard operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This is a hands-on role with the potential to support projects on an ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment is safe and reliable.
n
- Keep the yard and workshop clean and safe, managing waste and disposal.
n
- Manage inventory for tools, equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
n




- Safely coordinate the movement of vehicles and machinery in the yard and workshop.
n
- Handle loading and unloading of deliveries, plant, and equipment.
n
- Conduct daily inspections of the workshop and equipment.
n
- Follow company safety policies and all health and safety regulations.
n

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:

n

n
- RII competencies (e.g., working at heights, confined spaces, excavator)
n
- Workshop and yard experience desirable
n
- Understanding of plant, maintenance, and logistics processes
n
- Valuable communication and time management skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised yard
n
