About the Role

As a Food Services Assistant, you'll be responsible for assisting with meal preparation and service while maintaining food safety, compliance, and service standards across a range of client sites.

- Assisting with food preparation, plating and meal service
- Performing dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards and support kitchen operations
- Preparing and serving meals and refreshments to residents/patients
- Supporting kitchen teams including setup and breakdown of service areas
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils and food service areas
- Assisting in monitoring and recording Food Safety Program requirements, including temperature checks and cleaning schedules
- Ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous catering, hospitality, or food service experience
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
- Adaptable availability to work varied shifts, including early starts and weekends
- Food Safety Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (required for aged care shifts)
- Current Working with Children Check (required for education and hospital shifts)
- National Police Check




- Two recent professional references
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel to various client locations
- Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
