About the role

The NSW Police Force delivers a wide range of programs and initiatives that support organisational priorities and enhance services across the state. Within the Project Management Office (PMO), the Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the effective financial management, monitoring and reporting of projects and programs. By providing financial analysis, budget oversight, forecasting and governance support, the role helps ensure resources are managed efficiently and that project investments deliver value and align with organisational objectives.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analysing project and program financial performance, monitoring expenditure against budgets, identifying trends and risks, and providing timely insights to support informed decision-making. The role contributes to the development and maintenance of financial reporting, forecasting and performance monitoring processes, ensuring financial information is accurate, reliable and presented in a meaningful way for stakeholders. Working closely with project managers, program teams and key stakeholders, the Financial Analyst supports financial governance activities and provides advice and recommendations to help ensure projects remain financially sustainable and aligned with organisational priorities.

Total Remuneration Package: $146,766 pa. Package includes salary from $116,981 to $129,492, plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
