About the Role

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of electrical engineering, design coordination, construction and commissioning activities across the project lifecycle.

Working closely with project management, engineering design team, construction, procurement, subcontractors and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure electrical systems are safe, compliant, technically robust and delivered to the scope, design, budget and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will be the the key link between the office-based design team and the onsite teams, ensuring designs are effectively translated into practical, buildable solutions.

Successful candidate must be based in Perth as the role will be DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) at the start and end of swings.

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare and implement work packages for electrical scopes




- Coordinate procurement for the designated work area
- Regular site inspections and progress reports
- Coordinate construction elements for the designated work area
- Manage the planning, daily costings, monitoring, measuring and reporting of progress and cost
- Manage budgets and create accurate forecasts as the scope of work owner
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal stakeholders
- Provide support to the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering ideally, but will consider diploma qualifications in electrical engineering
- Electrical trade qualifications and experience highly regarded
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, ideally in Renewable Energy including high-voltage substations, utility-scale solar (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Sound Technical knowledge and skills in Electrical Engineering and Australian Standards
- Experience in preparing estimates for engineering design works and the capability to work safely in an industrial electrical environment
