Our client is a growing Toowoomba-based equipment and manufacturing business looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join their team and take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of their operations.

This is an office-based coordination role at the centre of the operation. You will be responsible for ensuring the right stock arrives, products are built in the correct order, and freight is dispatched on time. You will also lead a small team of assembly and warehouse personnel and report directly to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules in line with sales demand
- Coordinate freight bookings, deliveries, customer training and handovers
- Prepare dispatch documentation including consignment notes and packing lists
- Manage customer order updates and documentation
- Coordinate purchasing and ensure required stock and parts are available




- Assist with bringing new and updated products into production
- Maintain build instructions and identify production or manufacturing issues
- Assist with sourcing, pricing and availability of parts
- Manage stock levels, stocktakes, consumables and warehouse requirements
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure stock is correctly recorded
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency
- Maintain health and safety compliance across the floor
- Lead and allocate work to a small team of assembly and warehouse staff
- Provide clear direction and ensure work is completed to the required standard.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience coordinating warehouse, production, logistics or similar operations
- Experience leading or supervising a small team
- Robust organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Confidence using inventory, CRM or ERP systems
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get involved and get the job done
- The ability to take direction from management and follow established processes
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A strong team mentality and a genuine desire to contribute to the success of the business
- Manufacturing, equipment or industrial experience will be highly regarded
