Brief Description

The Role

Working as part of the Culture & Leadership Centre of Excellence within People and Culture, this role plays a critical role in driving our high performance with high integrity culture through organisational development projects to improve organisational culture and leadership practices consistent with Auto & General’s overall strategic direction, values and desired culture. The Senior Organisational Development Consultant will drive significant projects across organisational culture, employee value proposition, using employee listening and engagement insights, and supporting talent and succession planning. You will be responsible for translating strategic intent into tangible outcomes, leveraging your expertise in data analysis and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to deliver impactful recommendations and solutions. This role requires a blend of enterprise thinking, hands‑on implementation, and a focus on collaboration and execution.

Position Accountabilities

- Lead or significantly contribute to the design, development, delivery and evaluation of enterprise-wide culture, employee value proposition and employee experience programs aimed at improving organisational performance.
- Drive the integration of organisational culture and employee experience frameworks and initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain high-quality resources including employee and leader guides, toolkits, and digital materials to strengthen capability and support the embedding of organisational development programs.
- Facilitate workshops and interventions to build capability and foster a positive and effective workplace culture.
- Analyse and interpret complex people and workforce data to identify trends, root causes and opportunities, translating findings into meaningful insights to support decision-making and evidence-based recommendations.
- Provide organisational development advice and guidance to leaders and P&C; Business Partners across the organisation on culture, employee value proposition, employee experience, change management and organisational design.
- Collaborate with the Head of Culture & Leadership, P&C; Business Partners and stakeholders across the business to facilitate the development of scalable solutions and drive the behaviours that enable culture and workforce performance.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and be a trusted advisor to bring to life the A&G; culture in parallel with the business vision and strategy. Partner with teams across the business, providing consulting support.




- Support the Head of Culture & Leadership across the culture and leadership portfolio from time to time to meet operational requirements.

What Experience You’ll Bring

- A relevant degree in a related field (such as Human Resources, Business or Psychology), and/or equivalent years of professional experience.
- Experience in high growth and/or fast paced business (financial services or professional services favourable).
- Proven track record of designing, implementing and evaluating impactful organisational development interventions with a strong focus on performance and organisational culture.
- Ability to think strategically, analyse complex situations and data to develop creative, evidence‑based solutions and recommendations.
- Proven ability to work autonomously to project manage end‑to‑end initiatives to scope, time and budget including change management elements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and facilitate trusted relationships across teams and leadership levels to influence decision makers and gain their support of organisational development initiatives.
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal communication, articulating complex ideas clearly and tailoring messages for different audiences.
- Experience coaching and advising senior leaders and working effectively with complex stakeholder groups.
- Relevant certifications in psychometric assessments and coaching desirable.
