Job Description

- Process and verify Accounts Payable (AP) invoices, ensuring accurate entry into Oracle
n
- Manage invoice approvals and the AP workflow within Oracle Administer corporate credit cards and employee expense claims via Concur
n
- Prepare domestic and overseas pay runs (including multiple currencies)
n
- Manage intercompany netting processes
n
- Monitor and manage the shared AP inbox
n
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies or queries
n
- Manage purchase orders and perform 3-way matching (PO, invoice, proof of receipt)
n
- Respond to AP enquiries via phone, email, and in person
n
- Provide Accounts Receivable backup support during leave periods
n
- Financial Reporting: Assist with preparation of financial reports and management reports.
n
- Month-End Support: Support the senior finance team during the month-end closing process.
n
- Auditing & Compliance: Gather and organise documents for internal and external audits as well as tax under supervision.
n
- Perform general administrative and ad hoc finance tasks as required

About You

- Education:



Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
n
- Tech Savvy: Solid foundational knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data entry) and an eagerness to learn ERP system.
n
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Attitude: Positive, proactive, willing to learn, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
n
- Availability: Must be immediately available with long-term working rights in Australia
n
- Desirable: Previous part-time experience in an accounts, administration or customer service role highly regarded.
n
- Desirable: Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP and accounting software such as MYOB or Xero highly regarded.
