Maker Building Co is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, motivated all-round carpenter with a broad range of construction skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. The successful applicant will be an all-rounder who can confidently work across a variety of commercial and residential building projects, take responsibility for their work, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

- Work across general carpentry and building works
n
- Work with timber and steel/metal framing
n
- Undertake concreting and general construction work
n
- Perform roofing and roof construction work
n
- Install cladding
n
- Read and interpret plans and drawings
n




- Manage tasks from start to completion
n
- Maintain high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
n

About you

n

n
- Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade qualifications
n
- Solid experience in general carpentry and building works
n
- Experience working with timber and steel/metal framing
n
- Concreting and general construction experience
n
- Roofing and roof construction experience
n
- Current White Card and relevant licences/tickets where required
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
n
- Experience in maintenance, renovations, commercial fit-outs and general building works highly regarded
n
