We are currently partnering with a large aged care facility that is seeking a General Practitioner to join its team.
The role involves visiting the nursing home, conducting regular rounds, and consulting with their elderly residents. Key responsibilities include managing chronic conditions, performing medication reviews, providing dementia care, and coordinating with facility staff and families, with the support of established administrative systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to make a genuine impact in the Eastern Suburbs community.
About the role
- Location: Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs & Central Coast , NSW
- Billing: 90% of billings + 100% of aged care incentives + 6.25% Medicare Bulk Billing Incentive
- Expected earnings: Approximately $2500 - $3000 per day
- Patient load: 20-30 patients
- Availability:
1-2 days per week
- Position: Ongoing permanent role
- Parking: In office parking available
- Hours: Business hours, no on-call or afterhours required
Billings
They manage the end-to-end billing process and focus on submitting the doctors billings quickly
Payments & Reconciliation
100% of the doctors payments are deposited directly into the doctors nominated bank account weekly
Monthly Reporting
You will receive monthly reports so you know what has been processed.
Medical Software
You will be provided remote access to the latest medical software for use in patient treatment, records, access to pathology and radiology services.
Requirements
- FRACGP, MRCGP, or ACRRM (or equivalent)
- Ability to adapt to new software and systems
- Previous aged care experience preferred
