Managing Partner – Pharmacy Partnership Pathway | Cairns

We're not hiring a manager. We're choosing our next group pharmacy partner due to our growth and success. This is an extremely rare chance to join a high-performing but a well-balanced small team of owners as the managing partner at our new store in Cairns.

We are an innovative pharmacy group that is adding to its leadership group of managing partners. We're only looking for outstanding managing pharmacists, proven leaders who want to invest, share in the upside and help shape where the group, and your career goes next.

What sets us apart is our belief in doing more than the traditional community pharmacy. That work includes B2B services such as to aged care facilities / medical practices / corporate health / retirement living and telehealth providers. It gives our pharmacies revenue streams and professional variety that most pharmacies don't have, alongside traditional community pharmacy essentials.

Every partner will be supported to do their full-scope training that covers clinical upskilling, commercial and leadership development, and the backing of a group that wants you to succeed as an owner.

You've run a pharmacy like you own it. Now actually own it.

You're the manager who lifts the script count, builds a strong team and knows the P&L; better than anyone above you. You've built someone else's business for years. We're offering you a stake in ours.

- A clear partnership pathway. Buy-in is available as soon as you're ready, which will be structured into your contract, usually between 0–6 months, a guaranteed option. The structure, valuation method and financing options (including staged or vendor-financed buy-in) are set out from the first conversation.

- Full-scope training and support: clinical services vaccinations, QLD prescribing scope / UTI / contraception, will be supported by the partnership, business and financial leadership, and an ownership readiness course.

What you'll do

- Lead the pharmacy and a small team of 8-10 staff
- Own the P&L;: GP, wages %, stock turn, script growth, services and B2B revenue
- Build strong relationships with our B2B clients and grow new ones with our CRM and support tools
- Build on the pharmacy's already strong clinical reputation in the Cairns community
- You are operationally excellent at all things pharmacy, but know your weaknesses and blind spots
- Help shape the group's direction as part of the managing partner leadership group

Must Have background

- AHPRA pharmacist without conditions
- Have or are willing to undergo a police check and other standard hiring requirements
