About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Sanitation Supervisor with a specialization in food processing environments to manage their operations in Queenstown . This critical role ensures that all food handling and production areas meet stringent hygiene and safety standards, complying with all relevant regulations. You will lead a team of sanitation technicians, develop and implement cleaning protocols, and conduct regular audits to maintain impeccable hygiene levels. This position is vital for ensuring product safety and operational integrity within their facility in Queenstown .

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and direct daily sanitation activities within the food processing plant.
- Develop, implement, and enforce cleaning procedures and schedules for all production equipment and areas.
- Train sanitation staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections and audits.




- Manage chemical inventory and ensure safe storage and handling of all cleaning agents.
- Liaise with quality assurance and production teams to address and resolve any sanitation concerns promptly.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sanitation within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other relevant food safety standards.
- Experience with cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and cleaning equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
