Payroll Officer – Part time

Community Services #1 seeks a part-time Payroll Officer to undertakes end-to-end payroll processing, payments, reconciliations, reporting and the resolution of employee pay-related enquiries.

About the Role:

n

- Manage the full payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and within required timeframes.
n
- Monitor payroll compliance, conduct quality assurance checks, and maintain up-to-date payroll records in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
n
- Deliver exceptional payroll support by responding to employee enquiries, providing payroll guidance, and contributing to continuous process improvements.

About you:

n

n
- Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in Payroll, Accounting, Bookkeeping,



Finance or a related discipline, and/or substantial relevant experience in payroll operations.
n
- Ability to prioritise tasks, maintain strong attention to detail and data accuracy, communicate effectively, and work across multiple systems and software platforms.
n

What we offer:

Part-time ongoing role – 22.8 hours per week. Remuneration aligned to SCHADS Level 4, plus super and salary packaging. Supportive team, development opportunities and free parking.

Requirements:

Current driver's licence and ability to obtain/maintain required pre-employment checks and certifications (including National Police Check, Working with Children Check and First Aid), plus mandatory training as required.
