Founded in 1903, the Royal Automobile Club of Australia (RACA), incorporating the Imperial Service Club, is a prestigious members-only club with a rich heritage in motoring and a vibrant calendar of events, interest groups, and social activities.

As we prepare for a very busy summer season, our Food & Beverage team is expanding! We are seeking enthusiastic and service-focused individuals to join us in delivering premium hospitality experiences across our restaurants, bars, rooftop, weddings and event spaces.
n
Your Role
n
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be the welcoming face of our hospitality team, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our members and guests.
n
What we are Looking For
n
We are seeking team players who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar hospitality role
n
- Food and wine service experience is essential
n
- Experience in semi-fine dining is highly desirable
n
- Previous experience working in a private members’ club is preferred
n
- Experience working in large-scale events and functions is advantageous
n
- Confident discussing menu items, ingredients and dietary requirements (RACA training provided)
n
- Current RSA certification is mandatory
n
- Barista and coffee-making skills are essential
n
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and the ability to consistently deliver quality coffee
n
- Excellent personal presentation, grooming and hygiene standards
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Friendly,
positive and professional attitude
n
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences
n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for hospitality
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
n
- Assist with table setup and pack down
n
- Greet and engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner
n
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas
n
- Operate POS systems and manage transactions
n
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with RSA guidelines
n
- Support event operations as needed
n
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately
n
- Self-motivated, common sense, “can do attitude” and willing to learn and we can train you if you have work ethic…

Rates of Pay (Club Employee Casuals): Level 2 and Level 3 with loadings
n
n
- (Level 2) Mon-Fri $33.85, Sat $40.62, Sun $47.39, Public holidays $67.70
n
- (Level 3) Mon-Fri $34.96, Sat $41.96, Sun $48.95, Public holidays $73.63
n
n
Rotating roster – Monday to Saturday. Morning and evening work up to 35 hours p/w
