The Opportunity

Versatile Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing Aviation division, overseeing large-scale building and construction projects at Sydney Airport.

This is a key site-based role responsible for managing night shift operations, supervising trades and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and program standards.

Night shift hours are approximately 8:00pm–4:00am.

We are open to candidates seeking either a permanent position or contract engagement, depending on experience and project requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor, Foreman or Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership, working autonomously and being part of major construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing

- Oversee night shift construction activities across large-scale building projects
- Supervise and coordinate trades, subcontractors and site personnel
- Take ownership of day-to-day site operations throughout the night shift
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with WHS requirements
- Monitor and maintain construction quality and compliance
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate materials, plant, equipment and site logistics




- Monitor progress against the construction program
- Identify and resolve site issues and coordinate solutions with the project team
- Work closely with the Project Manager and day shift team to ensure effective handovers
- Maintain site standards, housekeeping and overall presentation
- Complete required site documentation, reporting and handover information
- Ensure subcontractors and trades are performing to the required standards

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Site Manager
- Strong experience supervising trades and subcontractors
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale building or construction projects
- Strong understanding of WHS, QA and construction processes
- Experience working night shift is highly regarded
- Experience within aviation, commercial, infrastructure, defence or other complex construction environments is highly regarded
- Experience with a reputable mid-tier or tier-one builder is highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of site operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of accountability, integrity and work ethic
- Flexibility and commitment to working approximately 8:00pm–4:00am
