Due to continued project growth, we are seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join our team on a casual full-time basis for work on a Wind Farm Construction Project near Wellington, NSW

The scope of work is currently focused on ground-based and turbine-access paint repair activities, inspections, and O&M; maintenance works. Rope access opportunities may become available in the future but are not part of the current project scope.

Roster:3w/1w, Monday to Saturday 10hrsper day

Project Length: 18 months to 2 years

Mobilise: Oct 2026 - travel/flights and accommodation provided

Key Duties

- Prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, abrasive blasting, sanding, and degreasing.
- Apply protective coatings, sealants, and paints to towers, steel structures, and associated equipment.
- Complete small paint repairs, coating touch-ups, and punch-list rectification works as required.
- Conduct paint inspections and accurately complete O&M; paint repair reports and associated documentation.
- Interpret project specifications, technical data sheets, and coating requirements.
- Mix and apply coatings using spray, brush, and roller techniques in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct coating inspections to ensure quality, thickness, and compliance with project standards.
- Carry out defect identification, maintenance painting, and remedial works.
- Maintain painting equipment, tools, and safe storage of hazardous materials.
- Adhere to all site safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve project and maintenance objectives.

About You





To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Painter, Protective Coatings Applicator, or similar role.
- Experience performing maintenance painting, coating repairs, and defect rectification on industrial assets.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation methods and protective coating systems.
- Experience using airless spray painting and blast equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, coating data sheets, and work instructions.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions.
- Rope Access qualifications are advantageous but not required.

- Construction White Card (Mandatory)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Working at Heights (Current)
- EWP Over 11m (Current)
- Confined Space Entry (Desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, etc. desirable)
- Protective Coatings Certification (NACE, AMPP, ICorr or equivalent highly regarded)
