About the Branch

The Digital and Information Services Branch delivers innovative technology and information solutions that enable Sunshine Coast Council to provide efficient, sustainable and customer-focused services to the community. As part of the Business Transformation and Performance Directorate, the branch plays a critical role in driving digital transformation, supporting major programs and ensuring Council's information assets are reliable, accessible and fit for purpose.

About the Role

As an Asset Management Analyst, you will support the delivery of Council's Asset Management Program through the analysis, improvement and governance of asset information. Working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and asset data, you will help ensure information is accurate, trusted and available to support operational and strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while contributing to projects that enhance the way Council manages its assets and services for the community.

Key Responsibilities





- Analyse asset information and datasets to identify data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities.
- Develop reporting, dashboards and performance insights to monitor asset information quality and improvement initiatives.
- Support asset information governance, standards, business rules and compliance activities.
- Assist with the improvement of asset management systems, GIS platforms and related business processes.

About You

You have a passion for quality data.

You enjoy analysing information, identifying inconsistencies and improving data integrity to support better business outcomes.

You thrive in a collaborative setting.

Your strong communication and relationship-building skills allow you to work effectively with technical specialists, asset custodians and business stakeholders.

You bring relevant experience and technical capability.
You have experience working with asset information, business systems, GIS or asset management environments and can confidently interpret and manage complex information.

You are organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
You can balance competing priorities, coordinate improvement activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that deliver tangible results.
