Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established construction and property business to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining financial records and supporting accounts payable processes. The business offers a collaborative culture, strong staff retention, flexible working arrangements, and genuine opportunities for long-term growth opportunities.

Register, process and code incoming supplier invoices within the finance system.
n
Review invoice information to ensure accuracy and completeness before progressing approvals.
n
Maintain accurate financial records and accounts payable support data.
n
Support invoice workflow management and assist in resolving discrepancies or outstanding queries.
n
Administer and maintain records for company fuel cards, eTags, trade accounts and other operational accounts.
n
Monitor account usage and ensure records remain accurate and compliant with company policies.
n
Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and broader finance team.
n
Liaise with suppliers,
employees and internal stakeholders regarding finance-related enquiries.
n
Assist with document management, reporting and general finance administration tasks.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support efficient finance processes across the business.
n
Skills & Experience
n
Degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
n
Previous experience in an Accounts Administration, Finance Administration, Accounts Payable or similar support role.
n
Experience using financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
n
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
Robust communication and relationship-building skills.
n
Proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership of tasks.
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also managing responsibilities independently.
n
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous professional development.
