About the Role
To be successful in this role, candidates must have demonstrated hands-on Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience, preferably with Moodle or Totara, and experience managing support operations in a higher education or similar environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME), system owner, and first point of contact in relation to the student LMS.
- Manage and support Excelsia's learning management systems (LMS), including ExO and Turnitin, and provide assistance and training to staff and students in their effective use.
- Consult with relevant staff to tailor the LMS to provide online learning content across Schools and Departments, in line with program requirements.
- Assist with maintaining quality requirements including writing and updating procedures and forms, relevant to the LMS and student systems.

- Demonstrated experience administering and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Moodle and/or Totara, including system configuration,
troubleshooting, reporting, and user support.
Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/or training is desirable.
Skills and Capabilities:
- Strong technical understanding of LMS platforms, particularly Moodle and/or Totara.
- Demonstrated ability to support and enable academic staff in effectively using LMS technologies to facilitate learning, teaching and student engagement.
- Experience administering and managing Zendesk or similar ticketing platforms, including reporting, workflow management and performance monitoring.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills with a focus on user experience and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating offshore support team
