What you'll be doing

The purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and safe transport of Sydney Children's Hospital Network (SCHN) staff and other clients, facilitating the delivery of health services across the SCHN and within the community. This role is responsible for managing the fleet of motor vehicles in accordance with NSW Health policies and budgetary constraints, ensuring vehicles are maintained and operated to support SCHN's operational needs and service delivery.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in the managing of fleet services or equivalent, within budgetary profile
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements for the function, maintenance, repair and replacement of fleet vehicles
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and prioritising work and the capacity to use initiative and apply sound judgement in achieving deadlines




- Evidence of managing third party contractors and service suppliers for the delivery of fleet services in a health care environment
- Demonstrated experience in using computer based software packages, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), and proficiency with software used in the Fleet management or similar
- Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia , with a good driving record and willingness to travel in the course of employment
